Make the Most of Job Shadow Day!
    by Carol Carter

Be Positive. Find out if there are any opportunities for internships or projects that you could apply for in the future. What kinds of skills would you need? What might you be able to build in terms of experience between now and next summer? How could you be one of the most qualified intern candidates for their company? Think ahead

Be Conscientious. Finally, write thank-you letters or handwritten notes to each and every person who helped you during the day. Saying thank you shows respect for the time the employer gave you, and it shows you have the ability to follow through -- two long-term keys to career success.
