About Groundhog Job Shadow Day
Inspire young people across the nation! Take part in the 6th annual Groundhog Job Shadow Day on Friday, January 31, 2003.
Show Them What It Takes to Make It in the Working World.
Groundhog Job Shadow Day is the one day each year you have the opportunity to expose young, impressionable minds to a career and life they might never have dreamed possible. Inform and inspire the future workers of America by giving them an up-close look at your workplace and what your career means to you. You'll be helping them explore, firsthand, what skills and education they'll need to develop a career in today's market.
Help Shape Your Shadow's Future.
Ever wonder if your Job Shadow efforts have a lasting impact? According to a study conducted by the Kravis Leadership Institute in Southern California, programs like Job Shadow Day do have a positive impact. Results indicate that students who participated in a job shadow program were more likely to complete high school and go on to obtain a four-year degree.
